As a Devon-based charity, our new partnership with Neligan Financial Ltd will help to provide opportunities for the county’s disadvantaged and ‘at risk’ youth population.
We are really grateful to have won a close Twitter poll hosted by Neligan Financial, having been shortlisted from a long list of local charities nominated by other Twitter users.
As an organisation, we work closely with the police, care services and health organisations to give the county’s youth a chance to fulfil their potential rather than succumb to the risks common for young people today. We are able to offer essential support and opportunities for disadvantaged children throughout Devon providing them with a safe space to grow, connect and inspire each other.
Neligan Financial works with individuals and couples approaching retirement so that they can live their ideal lifestyle for the rest of their lives without money worries. It was established by Andrew Neligan in 2016. More information can be found at www.neliganfiancial.co.uk
Andrew Neligan, owner of Neligan Financial, an East Devon financial planning practice said:
“The vision for the company is to help clients live their ideal lifestyle and having grown up in Exeter we wanted to support a charity that helps children who don’t get the opportunities that their peers may do. We very much look forward to supporting Space* as they change the lives of Devon’s disadvantaged children.
We would like to thank everyone who supported the Twitter poll and offer our commiserations to the other shortlisted charities that were involved in the poll”
Dan Barton, Communications and Partnerships Lead at Space* said:
“As a new charity, it is important that we have a local profile so we can continue to provide the life changing work we do. We are honoured to be Neligan Financial’s charity partner, particularly as they are the first corporate partner to approach us since establishing as a charity.
We are excited for the opportunity that this partnership will provide and look forward to working with Neligan Financial.”
We are a public service mutual – providing services across Devon ranging from targeted 1:1 and group support, community support, open access youth clubs, education services and Duke of Edinburgh awards.
