(COVID-19) update from Space*
We have taken the unfortunate decision to close our youth work sessions this week while we design our temporary offer for young people in our communities. We are working hard to make sure that we can still engage our regular users in all manner of exciting online sessions. We will also be reaching out to young people who receive individual support from us and agreeing the best way to ensure they don’t feel isolated. Stay Safe everyone.
Welcome to The Hive!
You can find The Hive close to the centre of Exmouth next to Manor Gardens, around the corner from the seafront. Our main hall is the heart of the centre, packed with plenty of comfy seating and everything you’d expect from a modern youth centre. It also features a set stage area and lighting rig, perfect for when we feel a gig or performance coming on…
The hidden gem at The Hive is our fully equipped music studio – hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the centre. If you just want a place to practise (as a band or budding musician) we also have a music practice room available most evenings! It’s perfect for rehearsing, recording your future hit, or just picking up an instrument for the first time! We also hold regular gigs on our mainstage and love to get involved in local events and share the music.
If you’re a budding musician or band why not get in touch and see what we can offer. Work recorded in our studio has featured on BBC Radio! Adding to the creative vibe of The Hive is our new media suite for budding photographers, available in most sessions! If you’ve never been to any of our clubs why not give it a go, your first session is free!
