Welcome to Room 13!
Small but perfectly formed, Room 13 is a great place for young people aged 11-19 from Okehampton and surrounding villages to meet up and let loose…
We’ve got music, pool, cookery, PS4’s and there are always plenty of activities on the go… There is even the odd BBQ in our garden!
You might just be looking for advice or support around sexual health & relationships, moving into employment or education and training – all of which you can chat with our friendly youth workers about – we’re here! Our youth hub also offers a number of targeted provisions to provide additional support to those who need it. Ultimately, we aim to provide young people with opportunities that make constructive use of their leisure time, raise aspirations and encourage a positive, independent lifestyle.
Our sessions are FREE – so why not come and visit? You can check out our timetable to find a session that suits you!

Fridays at Room 13 will give you the chance to see friends and if you want to get involved with our programme of activities. Most of what we do on a Friday is driven by what young people tell us they want with a bit of what we think you might like thrown in, we offer all usual activities you’d find in a youth club; music, pool, cooking/food, art and discussion around the issues that affect you. We are a friendly team of youth workers who support lots of young people in many ways from housing and living independently to sexual health & relationships advice to moving into employment, education and training. If you want a place to meet friends, get involved with activities or get some support Room 13 is here for you.
“The staff are excellent because they have to put up with a lot of noise and they put on excellent activities- I would give them a 5 star rating if they were a restaurant or something!”
“‘No Limits has everything required for any autistic child anywhere: fun and games but also peace and quiet. Karaoke in the disco, friendly competition around the pool tables, sweet treats at extremely reasonable prices, safe cooking for the culinary lovers and hang-out areas for those who prefer tranquillity. Rest assured, the staff at No Limits never discriminate but instead welcome all disabled (young people) with open arms and (corny as it may sound) with an open heart.”
“Youth workers give out a really fun and chilled out vibe which makes me want to talk to them.”
